Will I need a capacitor for my car?

I have a 2007 Honda Civic and i'm looking to install one 10inch rockford fosgate sub with a 500watt alpine amp. Will this strain my battery and do I need a capacitor. Also what are some good door speakers I should invest in for a four door civic?
